Responsibilities

• Manage corporate secretarial matters for MBI Group companies, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate Board and Board Committee meetings, including the preparation of agendas, papers, resolutions and minutes.
• Maintain statutory registers and records, and ensure timely lodgement of statutory documents with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
• Support the implementation of corporate governance best practices and ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2016, the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (MCCG), and other applicable regulations.
• Liaise with Directors, Management, regulators and external professional advisers on corporate secretarial and governance matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Administration, Law, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience in corporate secretarial or corporate governance functions.
• Sound knowledge of the Companies Act 2016, corporate governance principles and statutory compliance requirements.
• MAICSA membership, Licensed Company Secretary status or other relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with a high level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
