Responsibilities

• Lead the overall financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes to support the strategic and operational objectives of the company.
• Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, cash flow, treasury management and internal financial controls to ensure accuracy, efficiency and financial sustainability.
• Drive strong financial governance, enterprise risk management and compliance with applicable regulatory, statutory and corporate requirements.
• Provide strategic financial insights, analysis and recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Board of Directors and senior management to support informed business decision-making.
• Partner with business and operational leaders to identify opportunities for profitability improvement, cost optimisation, operational efficiency and sustainable business growth
• Monitor the company’s financial performance against approved budgets, targets and key performance indicators, and recommend appropriate corrective or improvement measures.
• Strengthen financial policies, processes, systems and controls to enhance accountability, transparency and overall financial management.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Finance team to build a high-performing function with strong technical capabilities, leadership competencies and business partnering skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong senior-level experience in finance, accounting or financial management, preferably within a Government-Linked Company (GLC), group of companies, subsidiary environment or complex corporate organisation.
• Demonstrated track record in financial planning and management, corporate governance, financial controls, business partnering and organisational performance improvement.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, treasury, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to translate financial information into strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with the Board, senior management and business leaders.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and sound judgement, with a strong strategic orientation and commitment to good corporate governance.
